The International Conference on Software Testing, Verification, and Validation (ICST) is the premier conference in all areas related to software quality. Software systems present unique engineering challenges to the tester, not least because they can exhibit non-determinism and emergent behaviour. No other engineering artefact is more closely intertwined with human activities, resulting in complex hybrid systems that involve software, human judgment and, sometimes, political, legal and social processes.
The European Conference on Software Architecture (ECSA) is the premier European software architecture conference, providing researchers, practitioners, and educators with a platform to present and discuss the most recent, innovative and significant findings and experiences in the field of software architecture research and practice.

ESELAW 2011 is a forum for researchers and practitioners to report on and discuss new
research results in Experimental Software Engineering, bringing together Latin America’s
academic, industrial and commercial communities. The workshop encourages the
exchange of ideas to understand the strengths and weaknesses of software engineering
technologies, focusing on the process, design and structure of empirical studies, as well as
on results from specific studies. In this perspective, ESELAW emphasizes contributions
and original researches on Experimental Software Engineering. All contributions will be
peer reviewed.
For Software Engineering this must be to provide fundamental foundations and ongoing support for a professional real-world workforce. It must also be recognized that education, certainly in Universities does not exist in isolation. For CSEE&T 2011 we particularly invite active researchers in Software Engineering to expound on how they draw from their research to ensure that their teaching is vibrant, inspirational, and meaningful in the context of the environments in which most of their students will find subsequent employment.
